56. John Stewart (Multiracial Delegation) - Racial Draft Season 2

John Stewart’s new backstory -- as per Kevin Shepard -- is as follows:

“John was born to William Stewart and Takako Higa (writing it in the English method) at Torii Station in Okinawa, Japan. His father was a Sergeant First Class and his mother was an artist.

John spent the first 8 years of his life on the island until his father's retirement. After his father retired, John and both of his parents moved to his father's home in Detroit, where John grew up. There, John was able to maintain close ties to his family in Japan as well as meet his large family in Detroit. His father taught his duty while his mother encouraged his artistic side.

John always had thoughts about blending his two worlds, of infusing the unique architecture of Okinawa with the soul and music of Detroit. But college is expensive. So John joined the Marines as another way of honoring and trying to succeed past his father. After completing boot camp and Infantry school, John was stationed back at Okinawa, due in part due to being requested by his uncle, who was a Lt. Colonel in the JSDF. Performing well, he was selected for Scout Sniper school, and was reassigned upon completion of school back to a SOC (Special Operations Capable) MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit). During this time, John put himself through college to become an architect.

From there, John’s story blends together with his remaining history as a GL.The new backstory gives John actual supporting characters (which he has none of) and inspiration for more varied designs of his constructs to include Okinawan architecture cues, as well as more Marine Corp references.”
